The Data Disaster Of Our Time
The data of our time are by far not more as durable as previously there had the ancient Sumerians well with their clay tablets and their cuneiform writing. Even thousands of years later these data of a long lost civilization are yet known. We can evaluate these traditions and we have a picture of their lives, their myths and their history. But what about that with us? What does exist in 3000 years by our data? What are preserved for data of our history? There are historians such as Graham Hancock, who represents the thesis that a pole shift and a huge flood large parts of the earth destroyed and thus the first high civilization was wiped out 10500 years ago. Their knowledge was handed down only very sparingly and after some old traditions we have given them such monumental structures such as the Sphinx, to owe the Cheops pyramid, or the megaliths. By the way: The Cheops pyramid consists of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks, which weigh 2.5 tons on average, where the granite stones of the King’s Chamber weigh between 50-80 tons, according to some experts.
According to our opinion the pyramid to be built in 20 years, which would correspond to a time of 3.5 minutes per stone! Is this even possible at this perfect arrangement of stones in this time? What tools did you have? The megaliths, where the largest weighs 300 tons and moved over a distance of about 50 km, raise questions. How did you do that? Where are the records? Maybe our descendants stand also this question in 3000 or 4000 years, when they encounter the remains of our culture. The bulk of our knowledge is included in digital form on hard disks, CDs, DVDs, and other media formats. How high are the life of this data, which can answer company, perform the data rescue. Hard drives live forever and their data are no longer readable with security at 3000-4000 years. The date of durability of CDs and DVDs is very low. Who has it still not seen, the to the coating replacing a CD or DVD, if some years are gone, or CDs for some time were exposed to weather conditions? What will come up with science yet, preserve our knowledge for posterity? Thomas Frost
